The moment that Seed World Group unveiled its global family of Seed World publications, we felt it would be good to look back at some of the events that have had a big impact on the plant breeding and seed sector over the past 160+ years. The overview of these events will of course never be complete, but even these few key moments in the seed sector’s history showcase the incredible work done in a century and a half and paint a good picture of where our Seed World publications fit into the global timeline.
